ManSchool in the morning + John Eldredge coming to Georgia

as a reminder, ManSchool kicks off in the morning.  We will spend a few weeks with a call from Erwin McManus – The Barbarian Way.  You will be challenged and blessed.  We’ll then roll right into his book, Wide Awake.  6am tomorrow morning and we’ll be done no later than 7:30am.

wild at heart

John Eldredge’s team is hosting one of their powerful Wild at Heart retreats May 1 – May 4 at Young Life’s Sharptop Cove camp in Jasper, Georgia.  I have attended two of these in Colorado and they were life-changing for me.  This is an intensive, focused walk through the masculine journey of faith and John and his team do a fantastic job.  Sharptop Cove is an incredible setting and the food will be great.  This starts on Thursday afternoon and goes through Sunday at noon.  It is expensive at $485 but well worth it.  About 300 men will be there and as you can imagine, there will be a flood of applications.  They use a lottery system and because of a local connection, I think we can get some slots reserved for us.

If you want to go, you need to go online and register FIRST THING, this Thursday morning February 6th – the first day the lottery opens.  Attached is the link http://www.ransomedheart.com/event-details/161

If you register, please comment below so I will know how many of our men are trying to get in.  Bret Crumpton is leading our group and will be going.  Guys, I encourage you to prayerfully consider this retreat.  If God so moves, pursue this, apply and we’ll see what we can do to get you there (no guarantees at all).
